The Ultimate Fitness Vacation:

Like Survivor, but with gourmet food and massage.

I grew up in a family where a “relaxing day” might include a long run, skiing, a hike, yoga, weights, and a few rounds of pickup basketball—before dinner. So when it came time to create a yoga retreat, I didn’t picture lounging in hammocks and sipping weak cucumber water talking about my inner child. I pictured serious sweat, movement, challenge, and that deeply satisfying kind of tired. Voila, The Ultimate Fitness Vacation was born.

A typical day includes meditation in the morning, power yoga, a 12-mile hike up a mountain, SUP, mountain biking, strength training, another yoga class, a massage to recover, and a gourmet dinner to top it all off.

Add in a few bear sightings, dangerously steep trails unexpectedly iced over, freezing alpine lakes, and the occasional runaway bike skimming a cliff’s edge—and yeah, The Ultimate Fitness Vacation certainly has lived up to its name.

Dinner conversations are never boring, many guests breathless that they even survived a typical day at this weird “yoga retreat”.

With guests from around the world, The Ultimate Fitness Vacation has been named one of the “Top 10 Yoga Retreats in California” by Book Yoga Retreats, the largest yoga retreat purveyor in the world.

In 2026, we’re bringing it back.
